Alert to Perth motorists - fill up now to beat the petrol price rise

Last updated: 03 November 2026

Motorists in Perth and Mandurah are advised to fill up now if they need to, with petrol prices set to rise tomorrow.

FuelWatch reports that, at 6am tomorrow (Wednesday 4 November 2026), the average price of Perth’s regular unleaded petrol (ULP) will increase by over 10 cents per litre (cpl) to 231.3 cpl with BP hiking by up to 244.9 cpl; Caltex up to 243.9 cpl; 7-Eleven up to 239.9 cpl; and Ampol to 235.9 cpl.

Despite the average hike tomorrow, there are still 32 individual sites offering ULP below 217 cpl, so consumers should check the FuelWatch website to find the lowest price near them. Buying fuel from the cheapest site rather than the most expensive, a difference of 56 cpl, means motorists can potentially save $33 on a 60-litre tank.

Tuesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:

  • 213.9 cpl at EG Ampol Brabham and UGO Mundaring in the East;
  • 211.3 cpl at Burk Oakford in the South; and
  • 213.3 cpl at Burk Bassendean and Burk Mount Lawley in the North.

Wednesday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:

  • 213.7 cpl at Vibe Bullsbrook in the East;
  • 209.3 cpl at Burk Oakford in the South; and
  • 212.9 cpl at Vibe Osborne Park in the North.

To find the cheapest fuel at any time, check the mobile compatible www.fuelwatch.wa.gov.au site which features an interactive map. After 2.30pm each day both today’s and tomorrow’s prices are available. Also, get a daily update by subscribing to free email alerts or phone 1300 30 40 54.
