Motorists in Perth and Mandurah are advised to fill up now if they need to, with petrol prices set to rise tomorrow. After today motorists will likely have to wait a week before petrol prices are again at the bottom of the price cycle.
FuelWatch reports that, from 6am tomorrow (Wednesday 16 April 2025), the average price of Perth’s regular unleaded petrol (ULP) will increase by 31 cents per litre (cpl) to 189.5 cpl with Shell Reddy Express, BP and Caltex hiking up to 209.9 cpl; Vibe up to 204.7 cpl; EG Ampol up to 203.9 cpl; Ampol and 7-Eleven up to 199.9 cpl; and United up to 199.5 cpl.
Despite the average hike tomorrow, there are still 22 individual sites offering ULP below 156 cpl, so consumers should check the FuelWatch website to find the lowest price near them. Buying ULP from the cheapest site rather than the most expensive, a difference of 57 cpl, means motorists can potentially save $34 on a 60 litre tank.
Tuesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:
- 152.9 cpl at Ampol Foodary Stratton in the East;
- 149.7 cpl at Caltex Westfield Street (Maddington) in the South; and
- 152.8 cpl at Petro Fuels Westminster in the North.
Wednesday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:
- 154.9 cpl at Atlas Fuel Midvale in the East;
- 152.7 cpl at Costco Casuarina (membership required) and 153.3 cpl at Burk Camillo in the South; and
- 152.3 cpl at Burk Mount Lawley in the North.
