Motorists in Perth and Mandurah are advised to fill up now if they need to, with petrol prices set to rise tomorrow. After today motorists will likely have to wait a week before petrol prices are again at the bottom of the price cycle.
FuelWatch reports that, from 6am tomorrow (Wednesday 14 January 2026), the average price of Perth’s regular unleaded petrol (ULP) will increase by 21 cents per litre (cpl) to 181.2 cpl with Caltex and BP hiking up to 203.9 cpl; 7-Eleven, Ampol and EG Ampol up to 199.9 cpl; United up to 186.9 cpl; and Vibe up to 186.2 cpl.
Despite the average hike tomorrow, there are still 22 individual sites offering ULP below 152 cpl, so consumers should check the FuelWatch website to find the lowest price near them. Buying fuel from the cheapest site rather than the most expensive, a difference of 59 cpl, means motorists can potentially save $35 on a 60-litre tank.
Tuesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:
- 150.5 cpl at Atlas Fuel Forrestfield in the East;
- 144.9 cpl at Vibe Oakford Truckstop in the South; and
- 148.3 cpl at Burk Bassendean in the North.
Wednesday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:
- 149.0 cpl at Shell Bullsbrook in the East;
- 144.5 cpl at Vibe Oakford Truckstop in the South; and
- 147.7 cpl at Vibe Beechboro and Vibe Wanneroo in the North.
