Motorists in Perth and Mandurah are advised to fill up now if they need to, with petrol prices set to rise tomorrow. Drivers are also urged to only purchase the fuel they need to fill their vehicles, not to stockpile.
FuelWatch reports that, from 6am tomorrow (Wednesday 13 May 2026), the average price of Perth’s regular unleaded petrol (ULP) will increase by 9.9 cents per litre (cpl) to 183.9 cpl with BP hiking up to 209.9 cpl; and 7-Eleven, EG Ampol and Ampol up to 199.9 cpl.
Despite the average hike tomorrow, there are still 78 individual sites offering ULP below 170 cpl, so consumers should check the FuelWatch website to find the lowest price near them. Buying fuel from the cheapest site rather than the most expensive, a difference of 58 cpl, means motorists can potentially save $34 on a 60-litre tank.
Tuesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:
- 167.9 cpl at FastFuel 24/7 (Forrestfield) in the East;
- 159.3 cpl at Liberty Beckenham in the South; and
- 165.3 cpl at Burk Landsdale and Burk Mount Lawley in the North.
Wednesday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:
- 164.7 cpl at Vibe Kalamunda in the East;
- 158.9 cpl at Vibe Kwinana Town Centre in the South; and
- 164.9 cpl at Vibe Nollamara in the North.
