Form 5A shows the vehicle is covered by the statutory warranty under the MVDA.
If a sale proceeds and the statutory warranty applies, Form 5A must be provided to the buyer at the time of sale, prior to the contract being signed.
Two versions of Form 5A are available – one contains a quick guide to the main warranty items for motor vehicles and the other for motorcycles.
