- assist the Commissioner for Consumer Protection WA (Commissioner determinations) in making decisions about a request to keep a pet or make minor modifications in a rental property; and
- maintain records about the request and meet legislative, audit, reporting and compliance requirements.
We may provide this information to:
- relevant entities as authorised or required by law, such as the Bond Administrator and the Magistrates Court;
- internal staff who support service delivery and related functions, including communications and education; and
- other entities, in a way that does not identify you, such as statistical reporting on bond disputes determined by the Commissioner.
Providing us with the requested information is required for Commissioner determinations to make decisions about applications for keeping a pet or making minor modifications in a rental property, in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act 1987 and related legislation.
