Information session for village operators and managers
In these free sessions we will:
- outline the staged approach to implementation of the reforms and associated timeframes for each stage;
- discuss what operators and managers need to do to prepare for each stage; and
- give you the opportunity to raise any questions you may have.

Operators can email rvreforms@lgirs.wa.gov.au. to register for a session. If you have registered for the online session, you will receive an email with details on how to join closer to the event date.
How can I find out more?
The key changes for each stage will be available on the Consumer Protection website on the RV Reform page, including a short video presentation which will be available in July 2026.
It will explain the main changes to retirement village laws and what residents and operators need to do to prepare.
Separate information sessions are being provided for residents. If you are resident, please register for a session using the links below.

Expressions of interest – tailored information sessions for village managers, staff and residents
Medium to large operators (6-7+ villages) may be interested in tailored information sessions for village managers, staff and/or residents. Sessions can be delivered in person at one of your villages or online via Microsoft Teams.
