Last updated: 14 August 2024

31 January 2019

As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, the BondsOnline eTransactions system will be temporarily unavailable on 1st February to allow for system maintenance and enhancement.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Period of downtime

Unavailable from: 5pm, Friday 1 February 2019

Estimated Restore Time: 8am, Monday 4 February 2019

Please note: the 'estimated restore time' is an estimate only and we will endeavour to restore service as soon as possible.

What will be affected?

The BondsOnline eTransactions system will be unavailable to agents, landlords and tenants. Any user who tries to access the BondsOnline System will be redirected to an outage notification page.

Lodgements submitted through REI Forms Live during the outage will still be received and will be processed once the system is restored.

Agents are encouraged to submit outstanding transactions, including bond lodgement approvals in good time before the system outage.

Any bond money must be lodged with the Bond Administrator as soon as practical, and within 14 days of receiving the money. The system outage will not affect how the 14 day period is calculated.

If you have questions about the scheduled outage, please contact the BondsOnline support team on bondsonline@demirs.wa.gov.au.

iRentWA now available in five new languages

Consumer Protection’s app for renters is now available in:

  • Arabic;
  • Chinese (simplified);
  • Vietnamese;
  • Italian; and
  • Korean.

With the introduction of the new language translations, more users can now take advantage of the tools and information the app provides.

iRentWA is a one stop shop for tenants, with easy access to information about their rights and responsibilities and a suite of tools for setting reminders, storing documents and more.

Users can easily calculate the maximum amount they might have to pay a landlord before moving in; save photos of the mandatory property condition reports, rental receipts and things needing repair; and set reminders for paying rent, routine inspections and giving proper notice before moving out.

Property managers are encouraged to promote iRentWA to prospective tenants by downloading and using our customisable flyer. Please feel free to add the contact details of your real estate agency and include the flyer in tenancy packs or on display at your office.
